MLB Alumnus awarded the VSA Prize

MLB alumnus Professor Dr. Alexander Wulf, MLB (BLS/WHU), MSc (LSE) has been awarded the VSA prize for his doctoral dissertation.

The remunerated prize was awarded by the VSA – the Alumni Association of the Friedrich Neumann Foundation for his doctoral dissertation "Institutional Competition between Optional Codes in European Contract Law. A Theoretical and Empirical Analysis."

Alexander Wulf’s dissertation was supervised at the Bucerius Law School by Professor Dr. Hans-Bernd Schäfer (first supervisor) and Professor Dr. Florian Faust (second supervisor).

Professor Dr. Wulf received his Master of Law and Business (MLB) degree from the Bucerius Law School and WHU- Otto Beisheim School of Management in 2007.

After subsequent study and research abroad, he pursued doctoral studies in institutional competition in European contract law at the Bucerius Law School and received his doctorate in 2013.

Alexander Wulf is Professor of Business Law at the SRH University in Berlin where his current research interests are in the fields of economic analysis of law and empirical legal research.
