Chose a form of cooperation that you feel comfortable with! Donations may be made to the school's general operating budget or may be marked for a special purpose, and every donation is appreciated.

Complementing the Bucerius faculty, scholars and professionals are invited to teach at Bucerius. Donations supporting these visiting lecturers and the costs associated with their teachings ensure a wide range of rich offerings for students.

Scholarships are a critical component for the Law School and its students as close to 25 percent of Bucerius students require some form of financial assistance to complete their degree. Your gift can help ensure that every deserving student receives the necessary support.

An endowed professorship is perhaps the highest academic honor that the university can bestow upon a member of its faculty. The donors of endowed professorships are among the Law School's most generous and far-sighted benefactors. Endowing a professorship includes an opportunity to name the endowed chair and enables Bucerius to expand its course offerings. If desired, donors may also contribute a part of a chaired position, such as a teaching assistant.

The International Exchange Program offers students the unique opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of German, European, international and comparative business law. Funding a visiting professorship in the international program directly contributes to Bucerius' mission of training lawyers for transnational challenges.

Bucerius Law School strives to establish centers with specific research interests, which focus on law, but also on interrelated fields such as politics and economics. Deutsche Bank Private Banking, for example, has supported the Institute for Foundation Law and the Law of Non-Profit Organizations.

The endowment of a university is its financial heart - it means everything to the institution’s health and value. Whether it is attracting the best students and faculty, expanding its excellent programs or generating new, cutting edge research, a solid endowment insures that there is a steady flow of income to grow while leaving the principal untouched as security. In addition to the solid financial backbone of the school which is the ZEIT-Foundation, Bucerius Law School aims to build its own endowment. Investments into Bucerius' future can be made by a direct gift to the endowment or by endowing professorships, scholarships, etc.
