Envision a radiant summer's day, brimming with palpable excitement and infectious energy. The crème de la crème of the 2019 and 2020 student cohorts have converged, poised to seize the limelight. Anticipation crackles in the air as the stage is set for a breathtaking spectacle—the highly-anticipated Foreign Language Proficiency (FFP – Fachspezifische Fremdsprachenprüfung) award ceremony.

Conquering Linguistic Frontiers: The Journey of FFP Examinations

Having embarked on transformative trimesters abroad, these intrepid students were granted an extraordinary opportunity to conquer new linguistic frontiers through the rigorous FFP examinations. To qualify for the exams, students undergo 190 hours of legal language training, both at the Foreign Language

Communication Programme and during their exchange trimesters. Subsequently, they must successfully pass a legal translation exam or submit a research paper, demonstrate proficiency in legal terminology, and excel in an oral exam based on a legal topic of their choice.

Awe-Inspiring Achievements: 61 Certificates Bestowed

Hold your breath, for here comes the awe-inspiring revelation! A staggering 61 certificates have been bestowed upon the exceptional students from the 2019 and 2020 cohorts. But that's not all! Prepare to be dazzled as the spotlight illuminates the achievements of four remarkable individuals—Sarah Leclercq, Anna Schneeberg, Anna Schnitzler, and Jimi Puttins—who have demonstrated linguistic dexterity par excellence by securing dual certificates in both English and Spanish.

And in the case of Jimi Puttins, dual certificates in both English and French. The resounding applause reverberates through the room, but brace yourself for more! Prepare to be captivated as a linguistic prodigy, Juliette Karl, emerges, her brilliance shining forth in not one, not two, but three languages—English, French, and Spanish. No language proved insurmountable in her relentless pursuit of mastery!
