Bucerius Law Journal - Call for Papers

The Bucerius Law Journal (BLJ) is a student-run law review edited by Bucerius students. It is supported by a board of advisors made up of professors from the Law School.

The journal publishes in both German and English and welcomes submissions from scholars in either language.

Accepting contribution proposals on a rolling basis

Bucerius Law Journal is accepting contribution proposals for future issues on a rolling basis. Bucerius Law Journal accepts submissions from both academics and practitioners, but also intends to provide students a platform for publishing excellent academic papers. At least three student papers are published in each issue.

Specifications

A submission should not exceed 35,000 characters (including footnotes and spaces), but may do so in exceptional cases. The citation of references should also comply with the requirements of our citation guide. When submitting a contribution, please indicate whether your contribution has already been published, or whether you have also offered the contribution to another law journal for publication.

After submission, your paper will be peer-reviewed by two editors who will decide whether the contribution is eligible for publication in Bucerius Law Journal. If this is the case, we will offer to publish your submission in one of the next editions under the terms set out in our Author's Contract.

Please send your paper as a Word file to info(at)law-journal.de.
