Dispute and Colloquium on Immanuel Kant

A dispute between Prof. Henrik Lando, professor of law and economics at Copenhagen Business School, and Prof. Hans-Bernd Schäfer.

Kant's Critique of Pure Reason was a philosophical turning point. He rejected a naive philosophical realism as well as the view that pure reason can tell us much about what exists. Kant continues to influence ontology and epistemology today. Prof. Schäfer and Prof. Lando share very different views on his ontology. The colloquium will begin with an introductory talk by Henrik Lando, to which Prof. Schäfer will respond. Later the discussion will be open to the audience.
